Read-Only ORACLE_HOME: any benefits by Patching if OJVM is installed?

Helo,

I'm going to migrate to Oracle 19c and try to implement read-only ORACLE_HOMEs  to reduce Downtime by Patching.

Some of my database have JVM. I'll  have to install COMBO PSU Quarterly.

There are some Post-Installations steps after each patch.

I Installed both Patches (Q12020) in one  read-only Oracle Home during my DB was online in the second OH

I stop  my database in old ORACLE_HOME and switch to patched ORACLE_HOME.

After I start my database in Upgarde Modus for postinstall steps of JVM Patch. After it I start database normally and did postinstall steps for RDBMS-Patch,
