You cannot assign a space to this location for the dates entered

Hi

Building & Location start date and end date is 17-Jan-2020 to 16-Jan-2021, when assigning employee to either from 17-Jan-2020 or from sysdate, on saving getting the following error "APP-PN-49705: You cannot assign a space to this location for the dates entered because the location is either not active or not assignable for these dates. Please select different dates."

Any suggestion here to assign the employee?
