we're using JDE Enterpriseone 9.2 Canadian Payroll. When creating ROE's how does JDE know what date

We're using JDE Enterpriseone 9.2 Canadian Payroll.  When creating ROE's how does JDE know what date to put into the Last Day Worked field?  Is it pulling the Termination Date in the Employee's Masterfile?
