temporarily using a disk slot allocated in raidconfig

T4-1 with hardware RAID.

Disks in slot 0 and 1 are currently part of a RAID volume. However, these are exported to an ldom that is currently unused.

I want to use one of these slots to physically add another disk (for another ldom) temporarily.

I've tried removing disk 0 from the array, removing the physical disk and replacing with new disk. Doesn't seem to work (I expected to see a new disk)

What is the best way to achieve this? I am concerned that if I completely delete the RAID volume, yes this will work, and I guess I will see two standalone disks in "format", even though I dont need those two disks for now, when I do eventually replace it will be difficult.
