Has anyone moved from using HR jobs to using Positions? Any affect on payroll?
We are on R12.2.7.
We have used Jobs/grades for a number of years and are looking at possibly implementation positions in HR and moving grades/etc. to tie to the position rather than the job. Note that we use Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and require timecard.
I'm thinking this change would not affect Oracle Payroll but would like to get some feedback from Oracle or others who have moved from using jobs to positions.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
