Value in kit identifier KITID

Hi,

There is a field called kit identifier(KITID) in F4211, can any one help me to know when system populate values into this and when it will not.

I am getting it some time but some time not.

In item masters all these item code has blank values in Kit/Configurator Pricing Method field.

Can anyone help me on this.
