Background color for fluid homepages and dashboards

Hello - Does anyone know why Oracle changed the background color for fluid homepages and dashboards has changed from dark blue to light blue with PT 8.57?  We just upgraded to Fluid last year and didn't want to change the background color so quickly.  Is there a technical reason why we should switch to light blue?  Does it have to do with accessibility?  Thank you.
