Inventory item shows excess LAST_PO_PRICE_PAID value

We are facing an issue where the LAST_PO_PRICE_PAID value for the inventory item is showing something excessive than the actual value. In the initial analysis we found it is updated by PO_RECVPUSH when items are received and processed by it. The next step is to dig deep to find which transaction caused the LAST_PO_PRICE_PAID value to be updated, i have checked data over IN_DEMAND peoplesoft table to identify when the transactions, however i found none. Any guidance on how to track the last update po price paid.
