Any issue if GSS is terminated?

Hi All,

I've a question on the impact of terminating the GSS. Will it cause any issue in system?

Our EBS is 12.2.4 and DB is 11.2.0.4.(14TB db size)

Sometimes our GSS will go longer due to huge stale stats , if left it run for longer will impact our batch jobs and business users.

So during those times we have to terminate if it goes long.

Few experts says it will create problems if the job is terminated.
