Project Capitalization - Fusion Assets

Trying to capitalize a project in Oracle Fusion Assets. When the Asset Lines are transferred from Projects to Assets, some of the lines in mass additions are stuck with below error. Understand the error is because the code combinations is disabled. if we enable the combination, we can post the mass addition line.

You can't perform this transaction because the balancing segment value isn't assigned to the ledger.

Scenario: Project that we are trying to capitalize has costs accumulated for few years. From the time the costs were entered to the time of capitalization, because of CVR changes some of the accounts are disabled. Business does not want to enable the combination. One option that we are considering is to enable the combination, post the line, disable the account and set an alternate account, so that when create accounting runs it is posted to the alternate account (needs to be tested though).
