JDE E1 9.2 Basic and Advanced Preferences - Controlling what order Preferences are applied ?

I am using the Advanced Preference for Inventory Commitment to direct the sales order detail line to commit inventory in a specific Branch Plant. 

I am also using the Basic Preference for Revenue Business Unit to assign the Revenue Business Unit for the item.   

When I enter the sales order it looks like the Basic Preference for Revenue Business Unit is executed first and then the Advanced Preference for Inv. Commitment is executed.

The Result is that my Revenue Business Unit is wrong, because it was updated before the Detail Branch Plant was updated.

If I subsequently manually blank out the Revenue Business Unit, the system then assigns the correct Revenue Business Unit according to the Preference.
