Installing 18c GI for Linux - question regarding directory ownership

This is the next step after my previous discussion.

Installing 18c GI on Oracle Linux 6, to upgrade a single-server, standalone Oracle Restart/ASM from 12.1.0.2 to 18c.  After creating the new HOME, unzipping the distribution into it,  I noticed that the ownership of the new 18c directory is different from the pre-existing 12.1 home:

Starting in /u01/app/oracle, note especially the owner and permissions of the two 'grid' directories.
