Upgrade CS 9.0 to 9.2 certain setups have gone missing.

We're in the process of testing an upgrade from 9.0 to 9.2 and I have noted some strange issues that maybe someone can answer.

When prepping a new test environment I note that the data gets exported from the source DB and then imported to the Target DB.

Although, I noted things like PSOPRDEFN and PSROLEUSER are also being exported and then imported to the target DB.

Is this correct (I can't think that it is as the users and roles need to stay the same) - also, I've noted setups like the LOV's and some others are the same.
