Min-Max planning based on past usage

Hello All,

we are using min max planning and our demand gets increase during special season such as storm or bad weather conditions.  Is there is way the min max planning can consider some past usage and suggest material to be purchased?

one way we thought before special season update the quantity but it lead to manual work.
