Supporting documents for Visa/Permits

In the Visa/Permit page that is under Workforce Administration > Personal Information > Citizenship, tehre is a section for supporting documents needed. In thsi section you list the documents needed but where can You actually store these documents in the system. Also I cannot find the connection between "Get supporting documents" and the section Supporting documents needed. The peoplebooks are not very clear. Thank you
