What is the impact to the customization in JDE when we do a cross platform migration?

Hi Team,

Please let me know - whether doing a cross platform migration for JDE(that is moving JDE from Unix to Linux or Winows) - will it have any impact on the customization done in JDE? Also what happens to the JDE integration with 3rd party tools? Any documents or links addressing these areas will be of great help.
