Yum updates on my Linux 6 server have started failing. "Error: Invalid version flag: if" is the complete error.

Here is the kernel it is running on: 2.6.32-754.25.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Dec 17 18:22:53 PST 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Here is the results at the end of the update:

---> Package redhat-lsb-printing.x86_64 0:4.1-47.0.1.el8 will be obsoleting

---> Package redhat-rpm-config.noarch 0:9.0.3-51.0.1.el6 will be updated

---> Package redhat-rpm-config.noarch 0:120-1.0.1.el8 will be an update
