Custom hover form locking application after tools release upgrade to 9.2.4.2

We have upgraded to Tool Release 9.2.4.2 and our custom hover form (created in 9.2.2) can be displayed but once we close it or it disappears the application it was called in freezes. 

Refreshing the form allows you to exit the screen.

Has anyone had a similar issue?
