Configuring Centrally Managed Users with Oracle 12c DB

I have gone through this note (OUD11g / OUD12c: Integrate EUS Using Only SHA2 Hashing Method Defined Utilizing New CMU Feature in Oracle DB ( Doc ID 2540418.1 )

It looks like 12c can be able to make use of Centrally Managed Users? Has anyone managed to successfully configure the 12c DBs against CMU.
