Question regarding using Date Utility on Tables with Primary Key issues

Has anyone had issues using the Update function of the Date Utility on tables where the date is part of the primary key? We are looking to update tables where we have expiration dates (end dates) set for 12/31/2020. Thanks in advance for any input.
