Stop EDI orders for certain items

There is a requirement to hold EDI order for certain items. We still want customers to place POs by EDI but we do not want to convert the inbound orders in to sales orders using R47011. Since this program does not allow data selection on F47012 there is no way to filter out based on LITM/ITM. Any workaround?
