Payroll run during Suspend / Sabbetical Assignment

Hi Friends,

I have few employees for whom the payroll should not be proccessed during Sabbetical/Suspend assignment. To  be more precise, if  an employee's  assignment status gets changes to Suspend/Sabbetical assignment from 15th March and if we run the payroll for that month, the payroll should be processed for the 15 days and not for the entire month. As of now the payroll is processed for the entire month. Please let me know how to overcome this.
