putaway in primary UOM = EA; no UOM structure - error 3485

Hi,

We have Warehousing activated in the Branch/Plant and are testing the simplest Putaway scenario. We use Fixed Putaway Locations and only transact in Eaches. We do not want to check the dimensions or the weight or volume capacity of the location. I have set up the F46011 with primary UOM= EA, weight UOM=GM and volume UOM = CC.

The first default receiving location is blank, then I want to move the item into the fixed putaway location. When I run the R46171 or try to suggest the request in P4600, I get the error 3485 - UOM structure not determined. Even though we are not using weight and volume per item, I have tried to set up a dummy UOM structure for the item in P41002. Because we only have the primary UOM, I only use structure code 1. It does not let me set up the dummy conversion 1 EA = 1 EA. The error says From
