Calculations for Leave Earnings for The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (Doc ID 2655004.1)

Hello,

Our Payroll Office has completed the setup for the Leave Earnings for The Families First Corona virus Response Act (Doc ID 2655004.1) supplied by Oracle.  Here is the question they are asking.  Your assistance is appreciated.

We are currently trying to figure out the logic for how PS is calculating the ER FICA Exempt portion of the sick leave.  It appears they are doing some sort of prorated amount with pretax deductions to figure the taxable gross for the ER FICA credit. The PS document did not mention how they would handle the calculation.  Is there any where we could try to get the logic on the calculation rules??
