IR/SO Split

We need to understand IR/ISO Process when

1. We wanted to split ISO lines , will it also split lines in IR ? Is system allow us to split once ISO Status is awaiting shipping.

    Because most of the time we get error - Split not allowed for Internal sales order

2. How can we make Split lines at what stage of sales order it allowed.

3. Can we cancel the ISO which reflect IR Lines as well and vice versa.
