Is it best for eAM organization to use the same master inventory organization that the manufacturing
We are in the process of implementing eAM. We have been using oracle for over 15 years with one operating unit and multiple inventory organizations each one corresponding to our different locations that use Oracle for inventory, BOM, Purchasing, OM, WIP, etc. ... but all using the same item master organization.
The question is... Is it recommended to use the same item master inventory org for your eAM org that is also used for all your manufacturing organizations? Or is it okay or recommended we setup a separate inventory master organization (same operating unit)? Or we even could use our eAM org as the item master org for itself.
