Closing CST/INV perio before calendar month end date (e.g. on 25th of the Month)

Dear All,

We are trying to close the Inventory period before the calendar month end date, e.g. period closure on 25-Mar. However, when period is closed and next period is opened, we facing problem at the time of receipt creation during the period 26th-31st as the receipt GL date is defaulted as the calendar day and user gets the error message that goods cannot receive in a closed period. When we manually try to change the date to first date of the next period, system does not accept that date either and given an error that receiving date cannot be in future.
