Hyperion Planning Security access

Hi Guys,

I´m new in Hyperion Planning and having the following issue with write access for a User on Hyperion Planning.

The users should have write access to a dimension member, but he is blocked.

He has assigned 2 groups, lets call them group1 and group2.

the member dimension he needs to have write access to has the following security configuration:

2000 (grandparent)

     2100 (parent)

          2101 (children) -> this is the last level where the user needs to write.

The security configuration:

2000 - Group1 ->write (descendents)

     2100 - Group 2 -> read (descendents)

          2101

Is it possible that the user is not being able to write, because the 2100 member (with only read access) is sharing its permission to the 2101 (base member) and my the user has both groups assigned?
