Does Primavera Cloud allow for offline clients and subsequent uploads?

We're considering migrating from Primavera P6 on-premise to the Cloud, but our users are currently taking the approach of working on a local (offline) client and then later uploading their schedules to our server-based instance.  What I'm wondering is whether or not this is still possible when on the Primavera Cloud platform, and whether or not client updates are readily available to match the current version which resides in the cloud.  If pulling schedules from the cloud instance and loading them into the local client, the local client version must be the same as the cloud instance.
