Service Manager is not running

Hi

I have a OGG MSA 12.3.0.1 installation with Service Manager registered as a daemon.

I was unable to connect to the Service Manager so, when checked, the service does not seem to be running on the server:

service --status-all produced results which included:

Oracle GoldenGate ServiceManager not running

Is it possible to start the service without restarting the server?

When I tried starting the service using "service <service name> start/restart", I got an error that the srevice is unrecognized:

Oracle GoldenGate ServiceManager: unrecognized service

Is there a way I can start the Service Manager service without having to restart the server?
