where Deduction Begin Date Question - FSA terminated in previous year - Last deduction not made
We had 17 employees where their FSA contributions during annual enrollment that had the wrong termination date(12/08/2019) on their termination record. This caused us to not take the deductions on the last paycheck of 2019. Since they have these funds available to them effective 01/01/2019, this has caused their FSA accounts to go negative in on the FSA accounts because they are able to spend their funds before contributing. How can this be prevented in the upcoming annual enrollment process?
I do see the Termination record in the FSA Benefits screen. Their effective date was 12/2/2019 - this was date when Benefits office processed the Benefits from Annual enrollment.
