How to control Schedule Ship Date update on sales order line

Hello guys,

We are in 12.2.7 and we have a problem.

Salespersons who service sales orders, sometimes have to change the Schedule Ship Date, because of multiple causes. We would like to analyze that data, but when users change that dates as they want we can't do that.

Is there any Oracle way to register the reasons? I mean we would like to force salespersons to enter a reason, why they are changing a date. Something similar to canceling line - in that case, the user has to choose a reason from a list.
