BIP 12.2.1.4 not integrating with obiee security

We recently upgraded from 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4. I set up the security for BIP 12.2.1.4 as Oracle BI Server and put in the connection string from the Oracle BI EE jdbc connection. I updated the SOAP security settings in the OBIEE manage privileges screen to allow consumer access. Restarted the services. After doing this, I can no longer log into BIP. It goes back to the sign in screen and just spins when I put in my credentials.

In bipublisher.log when I try to navigate to BIP from within OBIEE Answers, or when I try to log directly into BIP using the xmlpserver url, it just shows the following. Any idea what I am missing here?
