Can one remove streams configuration without damaging Golden Gate?

We have just upgraded our databases to 19c.  We have installed Golden Gate replication.  Everything seems to work.

However I forgot to remove Oracle streams configuration before installing Golden Gate.  Can I remove the streams configuration without affecting Golden Gate set up?  Do they use any common pieces?
