Issues in Peoplesoft online check creation

In People soft NA payroll online check creation,

Question 1:

When creating an online check , Paycheck option is setting as Advice automatically instead of  Check.

Need to understand the functionality behind the Pay check option field population in Online check.

Question 2:

Need to understand the field "No Direct deposit" population in online check creation. (Record field :PAY_EARNINGS - DISABLE_DIR_DEP)

Is that based on employee's direct deposit data and also is this field plays a role in Pay check option population ?
