CA supplemental sick leave
There is an LA executive order requiring up to 80 hours of “COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave” for reasons related to COVID-19. All require that the sick pay be paid at the regular rate of pay. We are planning to create a California Supplemental Sick Leave Earn Code that can be used in CA for both Quarantine Pay and for the various Supplemental Sick Leave laws that is coded to pay out using the FLSA rate. We need to bypass AM, but set 80 hour cap limit, any thoughts on how to cap it from earn code level ?
