How to set Supplier UDA attachments to Select Attachments from your Computer

Good Day,

I have a question regarding attachments on Supplier Life Cycle Management. I have created an attribute group that has an attribute with type attachment that is linked to a value set, the attachment shows fine on the supplier page but I can only select attachments that have been attached to the supplier record already and Not from my desktop/computer.

is there a way of attaching files from my Computer.

I have followed the steps in the attached link, but business wants to select their attachments from their machines and not from attached supplier documents
