Changing lot expiration date during movement and disposition - P43250

Hi, I need to figure out if there is a way in which JDE can support changing the lot expiration date at the time of movement and disposition. We receipt a purchase order and enter the lot number and expiration date at that time. The receipt enters receipt routing. Now when moving the inventory to STK, the inventory team should be able to change the expiration date since there is a business process underlying. Is there a different way we can acheive or turn on functionality in JDE?
