Check Control # (DOCM) in the F06156 file is empty.

Intermittently the Check Control # (DOCM) in the F06156 file is empty for one or more rows of our regular payrolls.  All other data in the records is populated and correct.  There are no errors on payroll reports that I'm aware of and no indication that a process failed.  This is a big issue for us when running reports and extracts that are dependent on this number.  We don't know why this happens and Oracle has not been able to recreate it.  Has anyone experienced this issue or know what causes it?  We are on E1 9.2 / Update 2.
