Resource Rates Setup for Currency Type

in Discrete Manufacturing - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi,

We have recently migrated from 11i to R12. We observed that for some items Outside processing cost is not rollup.

We checked for such resources. We observed that Type is set as 'Currency' and there is no value in Rates tab.

When we enter the Cost Type to which we want to rollup to 1. Then we are able to rollup the cost for the item.

We think this is the change in Oracle product from 11i to R12. As in 11i we didn't entered any value in Rates tab. But still cost roll-up was happening.

Can you please confirm this R12 functionality. Also can you give us supporting documents for this.
