Do not want to enter/generate LOT during MSCA Receiving

Hi,

We are planning to do mobile (MSCA) receiving for the items which are LOT Controlled and Inspection Required. It seems like LOT is a required field during the mobile receiving, but not during forms based receiving. Is there a way we can not not enter the LOT during mobile receiving, but after inspection we are all set to do the put-away we will enter the LOT?

  1. We want to do the initial receipt in MSCA
  2. Then we have custom built inspection/quality application which we will use for the inspection
  3. after inspection we will use MSCA to do the delivery
