Revenue Recognition Schedule for Sales Order AR

We just started using Revenue Recognition and we are now aware that the time it takes to perform this every month is going to increase on a geometric scale.  We learned that there is a schedule functionality for Realestate, however it will not work with Sales Order related AR because it does account for COGS.  We really, really need this.  We are hoping Oracle is planning on providing an update with this functionality. 

I have been looking daily on Oracle Support, but no new information.  I can't imagine that we are the only clients that are going thru this.  Thank you
