Financial Impact when we change date place in service for Capitalized Asset

Hi Experts,

Can any once explain the Financial Impact when we change date place in service for Asset which is already Capitalized.

What are prerequisite/Post-requisite after changing the Date place in Service for a Asset for the below Sample Asset

Example:--

Ex:Asset no# 131652

Current Date Place in service = 22-May-2017

Change start date to 10-Mar-2016
