Absence management

Hello,

We have not implemented the absence management module yet and was looking into its feasibility. We currently use TL only.

1. Will implementing absence management enable employees to request their vacation or sick absences through absence  management and at times let them submit those hours via TL? I am trying to understand if we will lose the flexibility of making timesheet entries if we implement absence management module.

2. Can absence management be implemented just to track the FMLA leave and its approval than for all the vacation or sick hours?
