JDE Servers Migrate from physical to VM

Hi there! Anyone here tried to migrate JDE from physical servers to VM (P2V)? We have a customer running E812 Tools 8.98.x on Windows platform (Deployment Server on 2003R2, DB/Enterprise/Web on 2008R2) and wants to know the supported methodology. The VM servers will use the same computer names as physical.

We considered the Server Change Out documentations (Doc ID 1071557.1, Doc ID 659735.1, Doc ID 1944173.1, etc) but they seems assuming the new VM servers have new Computer Names.

Some years ago when I am not yet a CNC, another team of our company successfully migrated another customer's Deployment and Enterprise Servers (Release E811SP1 Tools 8.98.x, both on Windows 2003R2 platform) from physical to VM with some tools cloning physical to VM directly without reinstalling the software. Not sure how the process is done as the persons left the company already without documentation. Any idea?
