Change default redundancy for database ACFS file systems on flex disk groups

When using flex disk groups on 18.8 it is not possible to specify the redundancy when creating a database on ACFS using GUI or command line. I know this feature is added to 19.6 but I was wondering if there is any way to specify the redundancy otherwise. For the ODA X8-2HA we are working on ACFS databases are defaulting to HIGH and we would like them to default to MIRROR on creation using the GUI. ACFS is being used rather than ASM  to make use of database snapshot cloning for some databases.
