How to speed up Consolidated LPN Pick Confirm

I’d be interested to hear how others may be handling this process. We're on 12.2.8 and we'll be using internal orders to ship consolidated LPNs from one warehouse to another. The outer LPN may contain 2 to many inner LPNs and sometimes the number of inner LPNs will be in excess of 50. After receiving the outer LPN in the destination warehouse, it is almost always never unpacked. It is simply stored there until the consolidated LPN is shipped to another warehouse using another internal order. So the outer LPN moves through 3 warehouses in total and is only unpacked
