JDE Native Connector vs BSSV

I am new in JDE world.  We are in E910 and  will be integrated data to/from a third party cloud solution.

I have been trying to understand what exactly is that so called JDE Native connector but hardly find anything.  What I understand is that if the integration tool can connect to JDE E910 using JDE connector, it can call/run any UBE, BSFN or DML in JDE system.  No need to build JDE Business Service ( BSSV ).  Is that right?

also, In term of BSSV, what is the advantage on BSSV by compared with JDE connector
