We have been asked to integrate Oracle EBS (12.1.3) with HP APM (Application performance monitoring)

Yes. We would like to have end to end application performance monitoring tool. Our Enterprise Team and Management has decided to go with HP APM. However, no POC has been done and we do not really know if this will add any business value. As far as tools capabilities are concern. Vendor claims to have the following features.

1) Synthetic monitoring  -- 24/7 Virtual users are simulated by running scripts at regular intervals from multiple physical locations, alerting you for availability and performance issues before your customers will be impacted

2) Real user monitoring  -- Measure the real end user experience performance of all users at all locations all the time, and automatically discover underlying infrastructure and classify user actions.
