Posting Completed in Error - Posting Execution Report Shows No Errors

Posting: Single Ledger completed in error but when viewing the Posting Validation Report is shows "All batches have completed status check with no errors".  Why would the report show the batch completed with no error when the batch completed in error?  The log file shows the batch completed in error with this reason:  PERF0005: Oracle error detected in glpibr() - ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 426 with name "_S
